The entire world is facing an acute public health emergency due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic. In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, the whole world has shut down most of its operations except medical services. During this tough time, we need to stand together and provide our support to the society in all possible means.
Texila American University (TAU) has made its contribution through a donation of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) to the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), a non-profit organization, for the “Make a Difference” food drive. This great cause has been initiated to assist elderly people who could not access their daily needs during this lockdown.
The faculty and staff of TAU have also made a donation of One Thousand Dollars (US $1,000) toward the India Relief Program to assist the less fortunate. This donation will help to provide food supplies for the people who are affected due to the COVID-19 crisis.
