Texila partakes in the “Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2020” on the invitation from the High Commission of India The High Commission of India, Georgetown, organized “Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2020” on 9th January. The occasion was held at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, featuring a live telecast of the interaction with Indian diaspora across the globe. “Pravasi Bharatiya Divas” is celebrated every year on 9th January since 2003, to commemorate the contributions of the overseas Indian community towards the development of India. The event was conducted by Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister, Government of India. We are proud to announce that the High Commission of India invited Texila American University, Guyana for the grand event. Through this event, we gained valuable insights and got the opportunity to interact with fellow Indians from different parts of the world.
